A 53-year-old US resident Choi, Me-hye currently visited her daughter in America and entered Korea on May 6th after getting 2nd round of Pfizer vaccine. Before getting on board in America, she also got polymerase chain reaction (PCR) negative certificate within 72 hours of departure. However, upon arriving at Incheon, Choi was ordered to home quarantine for two weeks. Choi paid KRW 85,000 for a quarantine taxi to the house in Seoul and had to take the extra COVID-19 test at the health center. Choi said, “I don’t see why I have to be tested in line for two hours with people at high risk of Corona infection and do the self-quarantine for two weeks when I have completed the vaccination already.”
